Completely self-taught in the world of filmmaking, Jason’s roots in political organizing, social work, and live theatre give him a unique lens through which he both creates beautiful images and fosters strong and cohesive collaborative environments.

P.M. Roanhouse
Bio:
P.M. Roanhouse is from from the mean streets of Severna Park, Maryland. Raised by a theater & media studies professor and lawyer turned federal agency, P.M. knows drama like TNT knows drama. P.M. first learned to edit video on their mother’s 8mm film camera and then was taught how to use a Video Toaster before the age of 10. They were taken on adventures in Washington DC to Chinatown with their mom to get VHS recorder that took out the copyright protection on tapes so she could make backups to use to teach acting classes to kids.
With a childhood VHS collection growing up over over 1600 VHS tapes that had three movies on them each P.M. had seen more movies than most peers see in a life time. Having worked as a technology journalist, blogger, podcaster broadcasting live from tradeshows like the late E3 expo and CES Consumer Electronics Show, as well as being the love video producer for TEDxMidatlantic for several years P.M. knowledge of live and nonlinear film editing is extensive.
